The Real Estate Institute of Belize (REIB) is the first-of-its-kind professional real estate school in the country—created to bring structure, education, and ethical standards to an unregulated industry.
Founded by J. Nicole Jackson, an international real estate broker and developer, REIB is operated under Tubal Trade & Vocational Institute, a trusted name in vocational education since 2001.
REIB is more than a school—it’s a movement to professionalize real estate in Belize, equip agents with real-world skills, and restore trust in property transactions across the country.

About the Curriculum
The Real Estate Institute of Belize (REIB) proudly teaches from the Belize Real Estate Blueprint, a nationally recognized textbook written by J. Nicole Jackson, Founder of REIB and a seasoned real estate professional with expertise in both the Belizean and U.S. markets.
The Belize Real Estate Blueprint has been professionally reviewed by a licensed Belize real estate attorney to ensure accuracy, relevance, and alignment with Belizean laws and practices.
The curriculum provides a strong foundation in topics such as property law, land titles, contracts, marketing, ethics, client relations, business development, and more—designed to prepare students for real-world success in the local real estate industry.
Students begin with the BelPro Associate Program, a 4-week intensive course. Those continuing into the BelPro Elite Program receive 2 additional weeks of hands-on, in-person training including property showings, CMAs, live marketing sessions, business planning, and one on-site day at the Lake Rue development.

What Is a BelPro Agent?
BelPro stands for Belize Professional—a title earned only by those who complete rigorous training through the Real Estate Institute of Belize.
A BelPro Agent is a certified real estate professional who has successfully completed:
- The 240-hour BelPro Associate Program, and optionally
- The 60-hour BelPro Elite Capstone Extension
These agents are trained in real estate law, contracts, ethics, client service, and marketing, and are held to high standards of excellence and integrity.
BelPro isn’t just a certification—it’s a symbol of trust.
Every BelPro Agent is assigned a unique ID number, allowing the public to verify their credentials through the BelPro Agent Registry.
Before you buy or sell property in Belize, ask:

Only those with a verified ID have completed the training, passed the final exam, and agreed to uphold the REIB Code of Ethics.
